The use of hot-forged marine brass for the water covers and seawater insensitive tubing promises future-proof reliability and the total elimination of the risk of water ingestion by the engine. So intercooler and throttle body changes are now a thing of the past.
Optimized cooling fins and passage geometry facilitate flow and improve performance.
Our intercooler is designed to require no maintenance during the year, the rinsing of the cooling circuit after each output is optional for the exchanger: it is fully capable of remaining full of sea water without being altered.
However, it can be completely dismantled for easy inspection and cleaning. The only parts to be changed during the life of the intercooler are the seals after disassembly!
During wintering, a visual inspection is recommended and can be followed by disassembly and cleaning.
